Thanks for a great Year End party!

And special thanks to Warren for the onboard entertainment. Reindeer around the world are cringing. Wishing your antler a speedy recovery; it’s a pity your liver has little hope.

Saturday brought a great day of jumping, our longest day this year.
It was a pretty long day for some, who were on both the first and last loads (5:15am – 5:30pm) and many in between.
Leon van Zijl demonstrated the day’s longest canopy ride and Shawnie displayed a graceful demonstration of the longest canopy drag ;).
I of course can always wow the crowds with my longest pack job!

Ok ok. So the real awards were also handed out.

• Most improved was awarded to Liz Webber
• Most promising went to Mark T (who apparently doesn’t know that the ‘T’ in ‘Mark T’ stands for ‘Tretheway’. You can’t expect to focus properly on your skydiving if you’re wasting energy on little details like knowing your WHOLE name!)
• Ken took the much deserved WSC Skydiver of the year award for all he has done for the club.
• Johno was awarded the once-off “Chief pilot of the century who works his backside off for no gain and little thanks” award.

Well done guys!
